This session offers a genre-agnostic look at structure as a revision tool, not just a first-draft decision: how to diagnose when a story's problems are actually structural, techniques for reordering, cutting, and rebuilding without losing what works, and how to let a draft's real shape emerge instead of forcing it into an outline you made before you understood the story. Whether you're working in fiction or nonfiction, you'll leave with a new way of thinking about revision—not as damage control, but as the place where your book actually gets built.
